Hi everyone
I am located in Oberursel, Germany. It's just a little to the north of Frankfurt (Main).
I got several cameras back in the film era, amongst them the marvellous Leica M3. This really forced me to learn the very basics of photography.
Due to their outstanding prime lenses I now own a Pentax dslr and spend a considerable amount of time to get the most of it. But strangely enough I don't like postprocessing very much and stick to the mere basics e.g. sharpening, tonal curve and exposure compensation. So I have to concentrate on the quality of my photos ahead of and during exposure. That's the classical approach to modern photography.
If you're around or like to share thoughts leave a message (English and German).
Cheers!
Stefan
